Hall of Fame Reunion Activities

Country Music Hall of Fame

For over half a century the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum has been home to a growing collection of over 2.5 million artifacts, including one-of-a-kind recordings, films, instruments, and more.  Visitors of all ages will discover the connections between country music’s past and artists of today in the interactive gallery space. Witness everything from Hank William’s cherished Martin guitar to Elvis Presley’s custom Cadillac, to outfits and instruments from all your favorite artists!

Discounted group rate of $24.50 per person.  The museum is completely self-guided, and our guests typically spend about 1.5-2hours viewing our exhibits. Tickets are timed entry and subject to selling out.

Historic RCA Studio B

Unforgettable experience at the Historic RCA Studio B. Your group may schedule a private guided tour through the studio where countless artists recorded many of their biggest hits; Dolly Parton, Waylon Jennings, and Elvis Presley are just a few of the big names that recorded there. This package is only $40.50 per person and includes admission to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.  Private group tours of RCA Studio B can be booked in the morning before 10:00am and in the late afternoon/early evening. Groups will need to provide their own transportation to the Studio located in the Music Row Area (1.5 – 2 miles from the Museum).

Historic RCA Studio B - Record a Song

For less than $5 more your group can also record a song at the studio.  You can record one of Elvis’s songs in the same exact place where he recorded it himself! This opportunity is pretty incredible. This extra recording package is only $45 per person and comes with a copy of your group’s recorded song.  Tour the Museum, tour the studio and record at the Historic RCA Studio B!  Private group tours of RCA Studio B can be booked in the morning before 10:00am and in the late afternoon/early evening. Groups will need to provide their own transportation to the Studio located in the Music Row Area (1.5 – 2 miles from the Museum).

Stories Behind the Songs

Discover the stories behind the music you love in a private session with one of Nashville’s hit-making songwriters. This intimate session allows the rare opportunity to hear hits as they were originally written. The writer demonstrates to the group how a song is created from concept to hit. After the session, join the writer for a meet and greet and autograph signing. This is priced at $60 per person and includes admission to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum!  This experience runs on a 35-person minimum and requires a $400 deposit due a month in advance to secure the songwriter for the program.

Sharing the Art of Songwriting

This is a one-of-a-kind engagement that allows your group to write a song with one of Nashville’s most-renowned songwriters. This is quintessential Nashville! In this special program, join the songwriter for a session on the craft of songwriting. By offering personal insight and direction, the writer guides your group in creating an original song.  In addition to penning their very own song, your group will also record the song during this hour-long process! One master CD is provided as a keepsake of this wonderful session (additional copies of the recording can be purchased at $5.50 each). Included with the cost is a self-guided tour to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. This experience is also $60 per guest and runs on a 35-person minimum and requires a $400 deposit due one month in advance to secure the songwriter for the program.

Waylon’s Way

In conjunction with our most recent exhibit installation Outlaws and Armadillos: Country’s Roaring 70’s. Waylon’s Way is a backstage look at those defiant years, with stories and songs from Carter and Barny Robertson, who played and sang alongside Waylon Jennings. From the tour bus to the studio and stage, this program transports audiences to the 1970s, to the Outlaw scene in Tennessee, Texas, and in-between. Experience these rowdy, creative years as shared by Barny and Carter Robertson.  This awesome program is only $70 per person and includes admission to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

Inside Tracks with Meghan Linsey and Tyler Cain

Nashville recording artist Meghan Linsey and Record Producer Tyler Cain will play two songs, then launch into co-writing with the group. By the end of the hour, they will not only have written a song, but will also witness and contribute to actually producing a track. Tyler will demonstrate using a midi controller beat machine, along with layered guitar tracks to build a fully-produced original song. Aside from building a song, this session allows students/participants the chance to gain knowledge from music industry insiders. They are free to ask questions about anything from using Garage Band and recording on their own, to vocal audition techniques for television.

If you are not interested in writing a song, we can shift the focus to tips for being a working musician, and music production. Writing charts, gear, the musicians union, etc are all up for discussion, while Meghan and Tyler will still demonstrate producing a song.

$70 (also includes museum admission) at a 35 person minimum.
