Most all communication with Crew Members is done via Email.
When you signed up in the crew list, you provided your email address, phone number and mailing address. Correspondence with you will primarily via the email address ssn681.batfish@gmail.com. If I am unable to reach you with your email address, I will attempt to use your phone number. I do not plan to send regular mail. The mailing address is primarily used to let us know where you live. This could be used for planning future reunions.
If someone needs to contact you, I will contact you first and give you the contact information for the person who would like to make contact. Then you can contact them or not. I do not give out contact information to anyone without their approval.
If you want to be kept in the loop on Batfish events, it will be up to you to make sure we have a valid email address and that your email system will not send emails coming from ssn681.batfish@gmail.com to your spam or junk folder. One way to prevent emails going to your spam or junk folder is to put this email address in your contacts list. Another way is to find an email that was sent to you which ended up in your spam folder and simply tell your email system that emails from this sender are NOT spam.
There are too many email systems out there with various spam protection methods to try and overcome all of them, so you need to take some responsibility to ensure you are getting your emails.
You can always send an email to ssn681.batfish@gmail.com and ask me to reply. This will test your email system to ensure it is properly working.
If I am not replying to you, it may be that I am blocking your emails for some reason. If you think this is happening, you can contact me via the questions and comments form in this website. I can then work with you to make sure everything is working properly.
